What if you could go to the country club and play disc golf, wander through a permaculture landscape laden with food, see aquaponics in action and see animals practicing rotational grazing?
While it sounds great, there really is such a place in Costa Rica. It’s called St. Michael’s Sustainable Community. You can buy or rent a house that has a living roof and an edible landscape.
Activist Rob Greenfield http://robgreenfield.tv/ takes us there for a special video on this Permaculture Country Club. The whole place is a food forest with hundreds of fruit trees, vegetables and medicinal plants. The land is used for habitat protection, growing food and recreation.
