The Straits Times brings news of the latest action of the Singapore Food Agency (SFA). The SFA is a governmental agency charged with food security from farm-to-fork. The SFA recently awarded 9 tenders for creating food farms on the rooftops of carparks. The 9 sites will have the capacity to produce about 3.5 million pounds of vegetables annually.
