CleanTechnica provides some insight to a report from E2 Engineers. According to the engineering firm, the nation has a total of 3.2 million clean energy jobs. 1.8 million of those jobs are in the top 50 American metro areas.
Leading the charge for clean energy are New York City and Los Angeles. Both cities have some of the best energy efficiency and renewable energy policies. This reveals that a better future is not always best left to competition. Good ideas can fail when the financial rewards for polluting technology get most of the dollars.
