Connecticut – Put 500,000 Electric Vehicles on the Road in 10 Years

EnerbyCentral journalist Lisa Prevost brings us the story of how Connecticut not only wants to populate its roads with more electric vehicles, but make it more equitable.

Connecticut is one out of nine states that has signed on to getting vehicles on its roads to be zero emissions. The states include California, Massachusetts, Oregon, Connecticut, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Maryland, New York and Vermont. The important number here is that these 9 states represent 92 million people – almost 30 percent of the U.S. Population. In addition, other states are joining the zero emissions mandate.
