Declining Cost of Batteries (for cars)

Word is out that batteries for electric cars are dropping rapidly. According to a recent article on Clean Technica, Bloomberg New Energy Finance reported that the cost of Lithium Ion batteries dropped from $1,000 per kWh in 2010 to $273 in 2016. That means car battery costs dropped to about ¼ the cost in 2016. Projections are that battery costs. Today the cost is down to $209 per kWh. Estimates are that battery costs may get down to $100 per kWh by 2025.
