CleanTechnica recently posted a story that could keep investors buying and owning fossil fuel stocks and bonds awake at night.
There are now 400,000 electric buses operating in the world’s congested cities. Every five weeks China produces another 9,500 electric busses headed to cities around the globe. And, there are a number of other major electric bus manufacturers in the U.S., Europe and India. By the end of this year, Bloomberg predicts that electric busses will be displacing 279,000 barrels of diesel fuel per day – that’s 102 million barrels a year.
