Does Your City Need Urban Agriculture Zones?

The Illinois legislature just past special legislation that allows cities and counties to establish urban agriculture zones (UAZ). Once a zone is established, special considerations can be given to urban farmers such as reduced water rates, tax concessions and lower utility fees.
