Brooklyn Grange in New York City is a unique farming enterprise. They have three large rooftop farms in the city – all of them on a non-profit status. Non-profit status, if your goal is to make a living, has some benefits. Beyond farming and selling produce, the Brooklyn Grange hosts private events and designs and builds farms for others.
