Here at Kelp4less we strive to make gardening as fun, easy and cost effective as we possibly can. Making the process fun and easy, will ensure that your harvest’s will be healthy enough to spread to others. Much of your time, money and energy goes into your garden. Here are a few tips to help make the most of your garden. There are 2 main ways to enhance your bloom cycle. The 1st being, Organic Enhancers, and the 2nd being, Synthetic Enhancers. We will cover both.
1. Organic Enhancers
Many of our valued customers specifically ask for advice during the bloom cycle and would like to enhance this phase of plant development. The best way to do this is early in the season. Incorporating products such as Rock Phosphate, Fish Bone Meal and Bat Guano, and Potassium Sulfate Granular, or better yet a blend of all 4 products together in even amounts, into your soil medium will serve you well in maintaining your garden. Mixing these products into your soil medium early allows the nutrients and minerals time to breakdown and release (allowing the plant to eat). This takes time and preparation work but once it’s done, Mother Earth will take care of the rest. Maintain a normal feeding regimen and sit back and enjoy the sunset.
If we prepared early we can move on to a top dress, if we are too late to incorporate the products above into the soil medium, we can top dress (sprinkle moderate amount around the base of the plant) and water it in. Again time is needed to breakdown these nutrients so the plant can eat. To speed up the breakdown process, use Organic Acids such as Kelp, Humic Acid, Fulvic Acid and Amino Acids to assist. These products convert the nutrients and minerals into plant available forms much faster when used along with your soil preparations. You should always be feeding Kelp, Humic and Fulvic when you are in bloom. We want Phosphate and Potassium to bring out the best in our fruits and flowers and using Organic Acids will make Phosphate and Potassium available to your plant much faster then without using Organic Acids.
This process is very rewarding when you can claim “All organic” when comparing the fruit and flowers from the synthetically enhanced. You can expect flavors and aromas not normally found in synthetically enhanced fruits and flowers when growing organic. Mother earth does a great job and when we simply provide assistance, the results get better.
2. Synthetic Enhancers
Enhancing your bloom cycle with synthetics is quick, easy, cost effective and mind blowing to see how fast the results come in. This is mainly because these nutrients and minerals have been specifically designed to be plant available. Meaning your plant can eat, the dinner plate has been served, no preparation, no breakdown process because it’s ready for your plant the moment you want to apply. Attractive to many because you can easily supplement any regimen during bloom. Products such as MKP, Mono Potassium Phosphate, 4-18-38, and 10-50-10 promote fruit and flower size as well as density.
3. For Best Results
We are here to help with either option you choose to enhance your bloom stage, in our tests and studies, throughout the 40 years we have been supporting crop production, we have found that incorporating both Organic Enhancers and Synthetic Enhancers together will always produce the best results.
You get the size and density increase from synthetics while still maintaining high quality flavors and aromas which are provided from the organics. Which led us to create the Grow and Bloom Packs. A hybrid of Organic and Synthetic.
