According to Car Sales Statistics, global car sales for January through April are down across the board. U.S. car sales are down 2 percent. China, the world’s largest car market, is down 15 percent.
Despite a declining global car market overall, the market for electrified vehicles is up 53 percent for January through April. Electric Car sales for January through April in 2018 were at 432,450. Electric Car sales for January through April 2019 stand at 661,544. You can see the full report here:
