Global Food Price Index – Flattens Out in April 2022

The FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization) reports that global food prices flattened out this past month. This is after global food prices increased by almost 31 percent over the past year. This is welcome news after so much global and domestic turmoil pushed prices beyond affordable levels for hundreds of millions of people.
