Is Urban Food the Next Mega-Trend for the World’s Cities?

An interesting article showed up in the U.S. News and World Report about growing food in cities. It is one of the most in-depth articles about food security for cities ever to hit mainstream media. What makes cities important is that there is no comprehensive food-security plan at the federal level other than perhaps food banks.
