The U.K. is known for its allotment gardens. The demand for allotment gardens has reached an all-time high. Over 48 percent of allotment gardens have more than 1,000 people on the waiting list. Some allotments have a waiting list of over 18 years.
Perhaps this is a message to the rest of the world, to start appreciating their lawns or other land for more than just green lawn. What do you think?
