Curbed media portal just presented an article by Partick Sisson and Jeff Andrews on how neighborhoods – where the average home is 7 figures – have doubled.

Much of the spike in home prices has been seen in California. Ten percent of homes in San Diego are valued more than $1 million. In San Francisco, however, 80 percent of homes are valued at more than 1 million.
