LM Wind Power successfully manufactured the world’s first wind-turbine blade to surpass 100 meters – 107 meters to be exact (351 feet). It is one of the largest components ever built by mankind.
The blade will also go on the one of the world’s largest wind turbines – the 12 Megawatt Haliade-X on an offshore wind farm.
While it is certainly a milestone for renewable energy, it is also a milestone for mankind. You can read the full article here:
