Putting Food First – Should America Be Learning?

The nation of the Philippines, with a population of almost 110 million, is taking action to make food one of the top priorities in politics and civil society. The government is undertaking that task of developing resilient communities in the metropolitan areas to ensure food security and health. On the list of things to do include agriculturally developing federal, state and municipal land, link agricultural production to health and make urban gardening a required subject at all levels of education.
