Rooftop Farm in Downtown New York – Breaks the Mold

Billed as one of the busiest convention centers in the U.S., the Javits Center in New York has over 3.3 million square feet of convention space. However, on one section of the roof is a farm. With soil 18 inches deep, it provides really fresh produce to the neighborhood.
