Saudi Arabia – Experimenting With Salt Water Agriculture

AgFunder News brings some interesting developments that have major implications for food insecure nations with lots of desert adjacent to salt water oceans.

Startup Red Sea Farms (https://www.redseafarms.com/) is making news as it looks to commercialize greenhouses that can use partially infused with salt water to reduce fresh water needs. Located in Saudi Arabia, Red Sea Farms is now building an approximately 18,000 square foot greenhouse using its new patented technology. You can read the full story here:
