Seed Library – A new Role for Libraries

The Atlas Obscura just posted a great story on libraries giving out seeds. The focal point of their story is the Phoenix Public Library. Offering seeds since 2014, the library now distributes an average of 1,000 seed packed per month across nine of its 17 branches. Hundreds of public libraries across the U.S. are doing the same.
