Turning Down Gas Production

According to a new report by Carbon Tracker, the seven largest fossil fuel companies must cut oil and gas production by 35 percent by 2040 to contain global warming. One wonders how that will happen. Will there be a dramatic collapse in the use of oil in the next few years – a tipping point where usage drops precipitously? Given the shifting political sentiment towards cars without gas, who knows what can happen. You can read more of the story here:
