Hemp News journalist A.J. Herrington looks into the future of hemp. The article reviews a survey sent to 10,000 hemp growers in 18 states. The survey suggests that supply chain issues must improve, but the long-term outlook is that hemp is on the way to becoming a major cash crop. Of immediate concern is that 65 percent of the growers surveyed did not have a buyer, which is still unclear as it does not denote actual acres of hemp that do or don’t have buyers.
