Will 1.4 Billion People Go Solar?

EnergyCentral news portal explores new research that reveals subsidy-free solar is now less expensive than grid electricity in virtually every city across China.

Obviously, the cost of taking out all the older systems and replacing them with new solar is not achievable in the short term. However, since cost drives many decisions, China could end up on a solar path. Does China, with 1.4 billion people, have the inertia to change the world?
