Aggressive nations such as Sweden are seeing double digit growth – 32 percent in August. This translates into a market share for plug-ins of almost 10 percent in Sweden. Estimates are that plug-in sales globally will reach 2 million units in 2018. That translates into a four-fold increase since 2015, when global plug-in sales only reached 550,000.
