Our Silica Powder is not a potassium silicate powder product. Derived from Silicone Dioxide, a porous mineral rock which differs greatly from the potassium silicate powder.

Primary function/use:

Great product, it saved my tomato from damage when the top of the plant bent over the cage it was in. Added 10 foot stakes and lifted it and to my amazement had minor damage. It could have been a real mess, but just a few minor cracks in the very top branches

Great addition to any soil built from the ground up. Used a cycle back finding that my plants stalks and stems were much stronger and larger than normal. I’ve also noticed that less fruit dropped and flowers just seemed healthier. I’d imagine that a larger stem system basically allowed water and Nutrient to flow more productive. Great product

Great product. Works well. This is a very beneficial additive.
It is not soluble, however. I could not use it in my aeroponic system, but it is a great additive for soil or certain hydroponic systems, especially since there is typically no silica in soil-less method.

Silica powder from Kelp4Less is an excellent addition to your indoor or outdoor garden. It has made my plants more resistant to powdery mild, high heat and high stress conditions ; giving them the defense and insurance they need to create bigger, denser bud sites .Not to mention my stalks are harder and more sturdy. Now I don’t have to tie some of my plants up on bamboo stalks during week 5-10 of flower. This product works just as good as RAW Silica or higher priced designer products like Rhino Skin by Advanced Nutrients. Don’t pay for water, add Kelp4Less Silica powder to your gardening mix.

I have a very very high temperature for my grow area which is beyond my control, and this product helps my plants to withstand the stress much better. Also I have not experienced any clouding that I have read of people experiencing with other silica products on the market.

I first used this and was pretty impressed!! I think I do great organic gardening already, but this really makes a difference. I mainly use it a preventive maintenance. Disease, pests or shock will be almost extinct if used on a regular basis. Your plants get strong when this is used. Also as a stand alone foliar spray makes leaves strong and tough!! Liquid armor is what I call it.. I’m very excited that they offer this in powdered form. Great stuff indoors and as foliar feeds.. K4L has done it again with this hit!! Thanx

Everything I feed this to is more rubbery, sturdy, and stable. I feed about 1/4 to 1/2 tsp per gallon of root drench about every other week. Looking forward to combining this with the bloom pack on my tomatoes this summer.

Silica from Kelp4Less is a must! It helps for thicker, sturdier stalks and stems, and also helps with preventive maintenance (resistance to powdery milder and some sucking insects). It dissolves well in water and my plants have no issues with up-taking this type of silica from Kelp4Less. Not to mention, they have a good price when buying in bulk.

I have seen improvement but my only complaint is that is does not dissolve completely so I am not confident my plants are receiving the full benefit they could be.

Great product. I have 2 dutch bucket systems. I added 1/2 teaspoon to each of my dutch buckets in one of the systems. One benefit I wasn’t expecting is outrageous lateral branching. It was easy to see the difference it made.
