The Vessel BRAVE COMMANDER Brings Ukrainian Grain to Starving Horn of Africa

Successful Farming news brings the story of ships bearing Ukrainian grain successfully reaching the Horn of Africa. This is the first shipment of grain from Ukraine since the Russian invasion to reach the drought stricken nation of Ethiopia. Carrying 23,000 metric tonnes (2205 lbs. per metric tonne) the appropriately named vessel – Brave Commander – will feed roughly 1.5 million people for 1 month. This represents only the tip of the iceberg, as the World Health Organization estimates there are 37 million people in the region facing acute hunger. You can read the full story here:
