CBS Los Angeles brings the story of a group of people who just completed their 2020 vision. The vision was to plant 200,000 fruit trees before the end of 2020.
There is a global Fruit Tree Planting Foundation that seeks to plant fruit, nut, and medicinal trees to alleviate world hunger and all the other benefits that come with it. The organization strategically plants orchards at public schools, city parks, community gardens, food banks, low income neighborhoods and Native American reservations. (https://www.ftpf.org/news)
