Busting Out 20 Million Pounds of Pork – Should We Be Concerned?

China continues to struggle with supplies of pork, since the African Swine Fever has wiped out roughly one third of China’s pigs. This is no small problem as pork is the favored meat for China’s 1.4 billion people. The Chinese government is releasing 10,000 tons of frozen pork from its reserves to calm escalating prices.
