Can Publically Supported Green Pillars Become a Business Model?

Non-profit approaches to improving cities is not new. Mexico City, with a population of 9 million people, is at the heart of a metropolitan area of 22 million people. Mexico City has embraced a beautiful project called Via Verde.  Creating green pillars along a major freeway, uplifts millions of people every year, not to mention cleaning the air. One wonders, how many cities around the world might embrace a company that creates green pillars (or garden pots) throughout the city?
