Farmland Grab news portal brings a story about Chinese ownership of U.S. farmland. Come to find out, China owns very little U.S. farmland. The largest foreign owner of farmland in the U.S. turns out to be Canada at 12.8 million acres compared to China’s holding of 384 thousand acres. In all, foreigners hold about 41 million acres of U.S. farmland. For perspective, 41 million acres is equivalent to a farm 100 miles wide and 640 miles long. You can read the full story here:
