The concept of a Green New Deal for Seattle is gaining momentum. How it will actually unfold only time will tell. Of concern, however, is that the city of Seattle is looking into joining the 13 states, cities and counties that are suing the fossil fuel industry for compensatory damages arising from the impacts of climate change. Seattle, a city of 750,000 people is at the center of a metro area of almost 4 million people.
