Cottonseed Meal is useful in a low-pH soil with low-pH requiring plants. It’s reputed to be great for roses, azaleas, rhododendrons, and potatoes. Most acid loving plants will enjoy the company of Cottonseed Meal. Blend with bagged or native soil or use it as a top dressing during the growing cycle.

When and where to use:

Start with early season soil preparations and supplement as needed during the grow cycle.

How to apply:

Trees and shrubs: 1/2 lb. per one (1) inch diameter of tree

Perennials and roses: 1/8 cup per plant

Storage:

Ensure bag is properly sealed and stored in cool, dry, dark place.

    With a combination of Bloom Pack and Cottonseed Meal, my roses performed much better even when the heat arrived in South Texas. I also applied this to my gardenia, crape myrtles and hibiscus plants. They love it!
