The Daily Journal, an Illinois news Portal bring us the story of urban farm tours in Chicago. These tours have become so popular that even rural farmer come to get ideas and network. While it is not a new idea, the collaboration with farms looking for marketing partnerships and urban farms looking for other supply connections is certainly a good idea. One of the tour guides comes from an unusual urban agriculture organization called the Urban Growers Collective, a non-profit overseeing 8 urban farms with a total of 11 acres.
