Saving the Local Grocery Store

The Washington Post brings an inspiring story of how a small town, about to lose its only grocery store, was saved by the community and turned into a grocery store whose primary goal is the sustenance of the grocery store.  While unusual, this kind of cooperative economics is important if a product or service does not have the revenue potential for large profits, but the service is crucial for a community.  The financial goal is to sustain the store, its employees and the community.  You can read the full story here:
