In the old days, many so-called poor had a farm and 40 acres, maybe 160 acres. Trying to earn a living farming has mostly proved futile as most family farmers have been economically removed from their land. Today, having a farm and 40 acres can be a path to wealth.
Now, just getting into an apartment can be a big thing, not to mention owning a home with some yard surrounding it. While we’ve visited the topic before, affordable housing continues to ratchet up in the political debates. As such, we thought to visit a recent article by Patrick Sisson of Curbed.
